I would love to know how individuals keep their RV from being cluttered.. Something we have not accomplished.. Sure few things we can down size, and we do often.
Living in a tiny place with 2 full time humans, 1 part time, 3 full time dogs, a cat and a part time dog does make it hard to keep things organized. But we love it even when unorganized and cluttered..
Ignore the vacuum, cleaning supplies in the photos, I am still cleaning and took a break to post. The RV is about ready to move, no matter if we sit for a day, week or months, I always have extra cleaning, storing before we move.
Yesterday we took Anne’s puppy our grandpup in to get spayed. Since Anne got her at a humane society in Albuquerque you’d think the pup would go to a vet in Albuquerque.. Nope we had to go to Edgewood, which was a 2 hour drive for us.
Since it was too far for us to drive twice we stayed around town, with all the dogs (15 hours too long to leave locked in at home).
We did get to visit the local zoo Wildlife West Nature Park a very nice park well worth the visit!! Room and shade in the parking lot for the dogs, they got to walk and play a little!
We also got to drive down Route 66 over the musical road.. The signs are gone showing you where the spot is, but still can hear the music.
Now the pup is back home, relaxing and healing. We are getting ready for our trip to CA to go to Aftershock Festival this coming week. Stay tuned for pictures and videos!
Next week we’ll be heading off the land for a couple weeks to attend Aftershock Festival in CA. Plateau Hame De Colquhoun will remain open to campers while we are gone.

Amigo the pup update
He is 9 weeks old today. Dreugan loves to play with him, though Dreugan tends to play a little “ruff”, soon Amigo will be able to keep up. We’ve been taking him for rides in the pickup and car to get him ready for next week’s trip.Last night was Amigos first full night of sleep, we even had to wake him up at 3 am to take him out.
We watched a RV YouTube video and they were saying you can’t be without AC in a RV in extreme heat stating “all RVs are heat boxes”.. It’s 103 out today and 89 inside. Maybe to some 89 is too hot, but to us it’s not that bad. (Ignore the date on the weather station, it doesn’t connect to the internet anymore). 14 degrees cooler in a class A with windows open and running a fan isn’t bad. You can do it without AC, is it for everyone? probably not.
Music in the Desert Open Mic was a success, We had a wide variety of talent show up, and everyone seemed to enjoy their night. Music in the Desert Open Mic ran until 1 am. We would like to Thank everyone that came out and look forward to seeing you all at the Haunted Hell Ride & After Party With Dirty Brown Jug Band and Haunted Hay (Hell) Ride !!

Some may know a couple weeks ago we lost Litha. She was a wonderful dog and loved everyone.. Today we went to Walmart and someone had puppies, we usually don’t look, but for some reason it felt like we needed to. We walked over to look at the puppies and they had one that looked a lot like Litha, we debated on getting him, as we didn’t want a puppy nor thought we were ready for a new dog. But for some reason we picked the pup up and felt like he belonged, after a few minutes of talking we decided to take him.. Now we are home, the first thing he did was lay by the water bowl, which was Lithas favorite place as a puppy.

Today the Music in the Desert Open Mic a FREE event. Music starts at 6pm. Bring a chair, something to roast over the fire, beer, bud, water and your talent!!
5pm will be volunteers meeting for the Haunted Hay (Hell) Ride volunteers get free entry to the Haunted Hell Ride & After Party With Dirty Brown Jug Band and free camping for tonight’s open mic and the After Party on October 21st.

We are still looking for volunteers for the Hell Ride. Saturday Sept 17th at 5 PM is the first meeting. Volunteers get free admission to the After Party, free camping at both open mic and After Party. Contact us to sign up!!!
