What Is Camping at Ka-Hoon Like?
Down 11 miles of gravel roads off exit 191 Belen NM.
Ka-Hoon is dispersed off-grid desert camping.
That means you should come prepared for a more independent camping experience.
There are no traditional RV hookups, and the property is reached by approximately 11 miles of gravel/dirt roads.
In exchange, you get something that’s increasingly difficult to find:

Because Ka-Hoon is an off-grid campground, guests should be prepared to camp without traditional utility hookups.
Self-contained RVs and campers are especially well suited to the property.
Van, Car Camping
Van travelers and other vehicle campers are welcome.

The campground is reached by approximately 11 miles of gravel/dirt roads, which is an important part of the experience—and something campers should know before booking.

If you’re camping at Ka-Hoon when a live event is scheduled, you may be able to experience the music right here in the New Mexico desert.

Please note our refund policy: No refunds are available past 72 hours prior to your scheduled stay. This policy applies to all bookings, including same-day reservations, which are considered non-refundable. However, transfers to another day may be possible upon request.
