🌵 What Is Off-Grid Camping at Ka-Hoon Like?

🛑 CRITICAL OFF-GRID WARNING:

Ka-Hoon Campground is located down approximately 11 miles of rugged gravel and dirt roads. This is authentic, dispersed desert boondocking—NOT a full-service RV resort. There are NO electrical, water, or conventional sewer hookups. Please arrive 100% self-contained and prepared for an independent, self-sufficient desert experience!

Outside of our designated private and reservable zones, you have total freedom to drive through the property and choose your own primitive campsite setup. We provide panoramic mountain views, an eco-friendly compost toilet, and a communal fire pit for stargazing.

🐴 Pet, Horse, & ATV-Friendly Desert Terrain

We welcome travelers bringing domestic pets, horses, and appropriate off-road vehicles (ATVs/UTVs). We simply ask that you operate all vehicles safely, clean up after your animals, and completely respect the surrounding desert land and fellow campers.

🎸 Camping & Live Independent Entertainment

Our property serves as the official headquarters for Colquhoun Entertainment. Depending on your travel dates, your stay may align with our flagship Music in the Desert concert series, featuring completely original independent music by songwriter and vocalist Brent Calhoun, aka Advocatus Diaboli. Campers are always welcome to experience the raw music right here under the stars!

🎨 The Ka-Hoon Campground Color Code

Our campground layout uses a simple color code to help you navigate your boundaries seamlessly:

🟨 Yellow (Communal Area): Shared spaces open to all campers for community fires and group stargazing.
🟨🟧🟨 Yellow/Orange/Yellow (Reservable Areas): Spaces reserved for private gatherings, VIP use, or scheduled events. Please do not camp here.
⬛ Black (Private / Off-Limits): Our private residential homestead and creative music production studio spaces. Strictly off-limits to campers.
🟧 Orange (Property Line): Our official property boundary lines. Please keep all vehicles, tents, and gear safely inside the perimeter.

📝 Booking & Cancellation Policy

Self-Selected Sites: When you book, you are reserving an overall off-grid experience at the property, not a restricted, numbered concrete pad. You pick your own space when you arrive!
Cancellation Window: Please note that no refunds are available past 72 hours prior to your scheduled stay. This applies to all reservations, including same-day bookings. Date transfers may be permitted upon request.
