We watched a RV YouTube video and they were saying you can’t be without AC in a RV in extreme heat stating “all RVs are heat boxes”.. It’s 103 out today and 89 inside. Maybe to some 89 is too hot, but to us it’s not that bad. (Ignore the date on the weather station, it doesn’t connect to the internet anymore). 14 degrees cooler in a class A with windows open and running a fan isn’t bad. You can do it without AC, is it for everyone? probably not.
Beautiful views of Ladrones Peak here at Plateau Hame De Colquhoun !
September 17th will be the first Haunted Hay (Hell) Ride volunteer meeting followed by a night of Open Mic 🎤 Karaoke. BYOB 420 friendly

A couple of weeks ago Brent, Anne and I had gone and stayed at an RV park in Albuquerque. While sitting outside some other RVs commented on how pretty the views are there. We realized then that we are spoiled as we had just complained that there wasn’t much for views. Here are some of our views up here on the mesa.
You are welcome to come enjoy the views yourself by coming to one of the events, or camping. Visit our website for more information.
Haunted Hell Ride October 21 Gates open 6:00pm to 9:00pm
Early Bird tickets go on sale Sept 5th
A night of scares and mysteries. The Haunted Hell hay ride is not appropriate for all ages. If you have any health concerns we ask that you refrain from going.
Sorry we haven’t posted much on what we’ve been up to. We’ve been so busy trying to get everything ready for Ladrones Quest also working on a fun event for Halloween, you’ll have to check back for more info.
Last year we took the summer months off and went on a trip, where we did workshops at different festivals. This year we had debated on closing down for a couple of months (we didn’t think we’d get much for campers due to the heat) and taking a trip. But with gas prices, we decided to stay open. To our surprise, we have been getting bookings. So far everyone has enjoyed their stay. We did have one camper who lost a tent to the winds.
We can’t forget to do our reminder for the upcoming event, Ladrones Quest..
