Despite our best efforts to secure the Dusty Nail General Store, the relentless force of the wind proved to be a formidable opponent. The cattle, roaming through the area, unwittingly caused a disruption by breaking one of the tie-downs, allowing the store to shift and making it impossible to latch the door.

Recognizing the urgency of the situation, we immediately sprung into action. Our first task was to reposition the store, ensuring that it was better leveled to withstand the force of the wind. Truck Repair Chronicles: Overcoming Adversity with Perseverance and Community Support

Ka-Hoon Campground

After replacing the faulty rear transmission seal and encountering a fuel leak during a test drive, frustration and discouragement settled in. However, perseverance prevailed as we identified a busted fuel line and promptly fixed it. With the truck back on the road, several test runs have been conducted, with the furthest reaching about 20 miles through the local terrain.

Gratitude is owed to the supportive community on Clapper Live and our helpful neighbor, whose encouragement bolstered our resolve to tackle the repairs.

Now that the pickup is operational again, we can finally address the projects that were put on hold during its downtime.
