**A Community That Cares at Ka-Hoon Campground** At **Ka-Hoon Campground**, we’ve been fortunate to host some incredible campers who appreciate the **privacy, security, and sense of community** we offer.
One camper recently shared their experience, suggesting we tell their story: – They had trouble unhooking their camper, and we were able to provide a jack and assistance. – Later, their vehicle’s battery died, and thanks to our jumper box (which also tests battery health), we discovered it needed replacing. After a quick jump, they made it to town to purchase a new one. – They felt **safe and supported**, something we provide naturally but don’t always highlight.
These moments remind us why we created a **membership-based campground**—a place where you can be yourself, have your own space, and rely on a community when needed.
**Booking Reminder – Don’t Just Show Up!** While we love meeting new people, we ask that all visitors **book in advance** through our website or contact us first. **A Weekend of Community and Family Fun at Ka-Hoon Campground**
This past Saturday, we hosted our monthly Members Only community event, and it was a great success! We had a wonderful turnout, with members coming together to enjoy a tour of the mesa, followed by a relaxing movie night under the stars. It was an enjoyable evening filled with laughter and good company.
On Sunday, we took a well-deserved day off to spend some quality family time. We visited the Range Cafe for the first time, where we indulged in a delicious meal. It was a delightful experience that added a nice touch to our weekend.
As we begin the new week, we are thrilled to welcome new campers to Ka-Hoon Campground. There’s something special about seeing visitors immerse themselves in the beautiful surroundings and make the most of their stay. We always look forward to these moments and the opportunity to share our little slice of paradise with others.

**A Visitor from the Skies and Reflections on Our Journey**
Yesterday, we had a delightful little visitor—a hummingbird perched on one of our security cameras. It was a brief but beautiful moment that reminded us of the simple joys that nature brings, even amidst the challenges we face.
The intense heat and recent false accusations against us have left us feeling a bit discouraged, making us question if we chose the right location for our dream. Our vision has always been to create a safe haven for all—a place where you can play, listen to music, camp, and, instead of staying isolated in your RV, van, or tent, you can socialize around a fire, watch a movie under the stars, or sit and listen to music.
In our travels, we’ve stayed at numerous RV parks, state parks, and town parks. Unfortunately, we noticed a common theme: most people keep to themselves. We, however, love meeting individuals from all walks of life. We cherish hearing their stories, seeing them laugh, and watching them feel safe enough to just let loose. We thrive on creating a community where everyone feels welcome and valued.
Our goal is to help people and support local businesses. Despite the hurdles, we remain committed to our dream of building a community that fosters connection and joy. We hope that more people will come to see the beauty and peace our space offers, just like that little hummingbird did.
