Out here in the New Mexico desert, strange things can happen when you least expect them.
One May night, while lying in bed, the box fan in our window suddenly stopped⊠then began spinning backward. Almost instantly, we felt a strange pressure â as if the air itself was being sucked from the room.
Our first thought was that our solar system had gone out, but everything else was still on. Then, as Brent reached for the fan, it suddenly returned to normal â running like nothing had ever happened.
Thinking it might be a tornado, we ran outside only to find a clear, starlit sky. As we stood there trying to make sense of it, a group of military helicopters appeared out of nowhere, hovering over us for several seconds before heading north, disappearing into the night.

One dark desert night, our dogs began barking wildly. Thinking it might just be the wind or wildlife, I let them out â but their behavior turned aggressive. Brent went to check things out, but couldnât see anything in the darkness.
Curious, I pulled up the security camera footage â and what I saw made my heart race. There appeared to be a shadowy figure, possibly a person, hiding under the Greenroom. I immediately called out to Brent, who went to investigate, but when he arrived⊠nothing was there.
Was it a trick of the light, a traveler seeking shelter, or something beyond explanation? What do you think happened that night?
