Growing up on a **small dairy farm in Minnesota**, Christmas wasn’t about extravagant gifts or long vacations. In fact, there were no days off—not even for the holidays. The cows still needed milking, the calves needed feeding, and the barn needed cleaning. But despite the hard work, my parents always found a way to make Christmas special.
I can still remember the smell of something delicious baking in the oven as we bundled up and headed out to do chores. By the time we were finished and cleaned up, the house was filled with warmth and the promise of a **home-cooked meal**.
