Cats visit Dusty Nail General Store
The last couple days we haven’t been able to accomplish much. With Drs appointments (Othropedic and Podiatrist),I’ve been having hip and foot pains for over a year, finally got it checked out. Just need better shoes which caused foot pain and Bursitis in the hip. Got inserts for shoes, cortisone shot in hip and doing better. Did get asked multiple times why I waited so long.. Only answer I’m stubborn and don’t like seeing Drs.
We also had 2 days of high winds and sand storms. Which made good days for Drs appointments.

I had a Drs appointment this morning in Albuquerque and wind hit on our way home. Kinda reminds us of driving through Minnesota weather, only difference this is sand and not snow.

Are we doing the right thing?
Sometimes, We ask ourselves are we doing the right thing by being here? Then something happens that shows us we are. Here, recently, we have been questioning ourselves about that question. The last couple of days, we’ve had little things happen that slowed us. We are supposed to be here.
We were sitting inside the RV talking about this vary topic. When we saw a coyote run by, stop turned his head and watch us. We weren’t sure how to take this, few days later again deep into this same conversation a little bird perched itself on the ledge of the RV.
When we first moved here, there really wasn’t much for wild life, birds. We now have birds, even the occasional Antelope. That are here because we have slowed down hunting, gave birds a safe place to perch. (There had been more trees here, until most where harvested).
Then today we got a memory of our past life.
I feel we are on the right path and our dream of preserving this land, yet give a safe place for all people to come.

Family Movie Night
Sometimes I miss going and seeing a movie at a theatre, but it’ll be awhile if ever that we’ll feel comfortable with going to any movie theaters. As many know that last time we went our car was stolen. Later we found out movie theaters are hot spots for car thefts as they know they have a few hours before you come out. I don’t know when if we’ll ever go back, probably never will go to the one in Los Lunas.
