Advocatus Diaboli and the Grim Leafer Band – Music in the Desert

Here at Ka-Hoon Campground and Event Center, music isn’t just a sound — it’s a way of life. Brent, known on stage as **Advocatus Diaboli**, brings the desert to life with his electrifying performances alongside his one-of-a-kind **animatronic band, The Grim Leafer Band**.

What makes it special? Every performance blends technology, creativity, and passion — all powered by off-grid solar energy. From the flicker of the desert sunset to the hum of solar-powered amps, Advocatus Diaboli and the Grim Leafer Band turn Ka-Hoon into a stage like no other.

Fans can join in wherever they are through the **Music in the Desert Livestream**, happening every **Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday** on our **Colquhoun Entertainment TikTok profile**. Cat Turns Desert Into a Jungle—You Won’t Believe What It Hunts Next! 🏜️😹

The Desert Stalker: Life Lessons from a Cat on the Hunt

Living off-grid in the desert means learning to move with purpose—just like our desert cat. Watch as this feline stalks through the tall grass like a miniature lion, every step calculated, every rustle suspicious. Out here, even a tumbleweed can be an enemy—or a toy.

When you live off-grid, you start to see a bit of yourself in the cat: alert, patient, and maybe a little too proud after catching nothing but dust. But that’s desert life! You adapt, you hunt for what you need, and you do it with style (and maybe a flick of the tail).

So grab a cup of coffee, watch the hunt, and remember—out here, survival looks a lot like curiosity with attitude.

Desert Nap Champions — Our Dogs Perfect the Art of Sunbathing ☀️🐾

Even in the desert, life finds its rhythm — and for our furry family at **Ka-Hoon Campground and Event Center**, that rhythm is *nap, stretch, repeat.*

These off-grid pups have truly mastered the art of soaking up the sun. With no stress, no schedules, and no worries, they remind us daily that sometimes the best use of solar power is a good nap.

Out here, every day is an adventure — but even adventurers need their rest. Whether it’s Vibria, Dreugan, or one of the other four-legged members of the Colquhoun crew, they always find the perfect sunny spot for a little desert downtime.

If only we humans could relax this hard! 😂

Fan Spins Backward Then THIS Happens?! Mysteries of the West Mesa | Caught in the Desert 🌵

Vault Video: Mysteries of the West Mesa — “Sucked Off” | What Happened That Night?

Out here in the New Mexico desert, strange things can happen when you least expect them.

One May night, while lying in bed, the box fan in our window suddenly stopped… then began spinning backward. Almost instantly, we felt a strange pressure — as if the air itself was being sucked from the room.

Our first thought was that our solar system had gone out, but everything else was still on. Then, as Brent reached for the fan, it suddenly returned to normal — running like nothing had ever happened.

Thinking it might be a tornado, we ran outside only to find a clear, starlit sky. As we stood there trying to make sense of it, a group of military helicopters appeared out of nowhere, hovering over us for several seconds before heading north, disappearing into the night.

What do you think this was? A coincidence, an environmental anomaly, or something more mysterious?

Stay tuned for more episodes of **Mysteries of the West Mesa** — and don’t forget to share your thoughts in the comments!

Haunted Hayride Memories: A Look Back at Our Spooky Community Fun at Ka-Hoon Campground 🎃🚜

This **Vault Video** takes you back to one of our favorite community events — the **Haunted Hayride** hosted right here at **Ka-Hoon Campground and Event Center!**

The hayride wasn’t just about spooky fun — it was about **bringing people together**. All hayride proceeds went right back into the community, helping fund **projects and improvements** that everyone could enjoy together.

Alongside the hayride, we filled the night with **live bands**, **campsite-to-campsite trick-or-treating**, **games**, **bonfires**, **potlucks**, and more. Every year brought something a little different — new faces, new frights, and new memories.

Whether you were here for the music, the laughter, or the screams echoing through the desert night, each Haunted Hayride was a reminder of what makes this community so special — people coming together under the stars.

👻 **Each year’s events vary**, and the Hayride may or may not return, so **stay tuned for our 2026 schedule!** You never know what spooky surprises might be waiting in the desert…
