Today we received a package from Advocatus Diaboli for the West Mesa Haunted Hay Ride after show. We opened it to find Advocatus Diaboli’s merchandise for his show! We are very excited to have Advocatus Diaboli here for the Saturday night Haunted Hayride After show!
We had seen Advocatus Diaboli and the Grim Leafer Band in show, we very proud they agreed to come and do a show here, it’s a must see show!

Dealing with rainy days as a child living on a dairy farm in rural Minnesota meant muddy cattle, little extra work cleaning the barn, flooded/washed out roads. But it also meant watching movies, sometimes playing a board game,
Raining days while Living off-grid in the desert in New Mexico isn’t a whole lot difference than my experiences while in Minnesota. (Though we don’t have cattle). We have flooded/washed out roads, play board/cards games. But no movies.
The difference is overcast days don’t charge the batteries for the solar much if at all. We can usually handle one over cast day fine, but not 2 or 3 days.
To preserve electric (in case its longer than a day) all non essentials get turned off. Fans, tvs, charging of cell phones are limited. Which means no movies.
We can start up generators, but why waste the gas? So rainy days usually means doing things that doesn’t require electric. Reading, writing, drawing, playing board or card games. Going into town in the truck due to the roads.
Last couple days we have been busy in the Studio, working on aspects of the West Mesa Haunted Hay Ride .
The studio is not yet completely set, still needs electric ran to it. Right now all the electric is wired for 3 phase. We plan to change it so that its solar dedicated (I know very little about electric) to the breaker box. The studio does have 2 huge HvAC units that we can not use. (240v 3 phase) if you know anyone interested in them contact us. Will need removal.

The Camping and Movie Night was alot of fun. We met some wonderful people and thank you all for coming!! We hope that September’s Camping and Movie might is as successful!!

Mysteries of the West Mesa “Another Sighting of the Man in Black”
On a dark night, while all the guys were off helping a neighbor, all of us gals were hanging out at our place.
Suddenly, all at once, the dogs started barking, motion detecters, and lights went off. With the dogs by my side, I went out to see what was going on.
In the glow of a security light, I saw a tall, slender man in black. I asked him to leave. stating that if he comes closer, the dogs will attack on command. But without saying anything, he slowly walked closer. I gave another warning. Asking him to leave.
He still said nothing and walked towards me. I then gave the command and all the dogs charged towards the man in black.
I then rushed back towards the RV, yelling for them to call the guys! The dogs know to only chase for a short distance before returning.
We did report the man in black and did not find any other traces that night.
Why is the man in black here? What does he want?

Do NOT drive under the consumption of alochol or 420. We have camping available if you’d like to party some and not drive. If your drinking or stone and haven’t booked a campsite sleep it off in your vehicle.

Grilling at your campsites or by your vechicles are allowed. General admission gates open 2 hours before the movie starts.
