All of us at Plateau Hame De Colquhoun are proud to be working with the University of New Mexico and the Ziamet Weather Station Project!

Today they came out and put all the underground sensors (30 meters), poured the concrete slab and installed the fence.

In a couple weeks they’ll be back out to install the tower and other sensors.

Tonight is camping and Movie Night !! The movie is free to watch, there is free parking available. VIP Parking Passes and Campsites can be purchased at the Dusty Nail General Store !

If you plan to camp or purchase VIP Parking Pass drive past the Parking lot to the store and purchase your pass or campsite. Parking on the driveway or on Powerline is NOT allowed.

You still can purchase a campsite or a parking pass on through the website.

The movie starts at dusk, gates open at 6 pm. We look forward to seeing you tonight!

We are also working on the West Mesa Haunted Hay Ride . It will be a 2 night hayride, 2 nights of terror while riding through the desert.

Friday night there will be music and a bonfire, shopping at the Dusty Nail General Store !

Saturday we are working on some entertainment, we’ll release the information as soon as we know all the details.

Today’s a little warm with heat in the upper 90s. Though the dogs are enjoying their cooling towels and laying in front of the fan. Amigo took his towel off and laid on it. Dreugan is letting the fan hit his. We use cooling towels that absorb water and tend to stay cool for a while. We’ve found them to be very handy for us and the dogs.

Take your Dad out this Saturday for a night of sitting under the stars for camping and Movie Night here at Plateau Hame De Colquhoun !

Movie “Avatar 2 The Way of Water” starts at Dusk.

Movie is free, free parking is available. There is a short walk from the free parking area.

VIP Parking Passes (Much closer parking) and Campsites are available and can be purchased online through the Website or Saturday at the Dusty Nail General Store .

Gates open at 6 for all
