It is weird how friendships happen. We never thought we’d ask a band to come play here an become such close friends. Brent has been working with them pretty much everyday. It has gotten him back into to writing his own material. Seeing the passion come back that he has lost for a few years, has made it all worth it. We can’t thank Advocatus Diaboli enough for what him and the band has done.
Brent has written most of the songs that Advocatus Diaboli and the Grim Leafer Band will be performing during the Happy HORRORDAZE “Axe-Travaganza” !
It’s going to be a fun live concert, not a kid friendly concert. If you are easily offended don’t watch. Everyone else come laugh, and enjoy the show!!

We had seen Advocatus Diaboli perform while visiting Wisconsin a few years ago and loved the show. While looking for a band to preform for the Hayride we thought of them, but figured it’d be a long shot or out of our budget.
But to our surprise they said yes!! Not only did they come and perform, they paid their own way in and charged us a small fee to perform, which we got back. Lol They had been wanting to get out of the cold, and try to branch out to other states, so when we asked they thought it’d be a nice trial to see if they liked it.
I’m guessing they did as they bought property right next to ours, and plan to help us by performing during the Nomad Gathering in May and few other events in the works. In return we are helping them to settle in and setting up their social media and website.
If you are looking for a variety show of covers, parody and originals with some comedy the Advocatus Diaboli and the Grim Leafer Band are open to potential bookings within New Mexico, Texas, Colorado and Arizona and the “unholy” world at large!

Good Thursday morning! I had to check to make sure it really was Thursday. Why is it so hard to get projects started let alone finished? We have been busy with so many other things that we haven’t had a chance to start the projects we want to get done.
But it’ll all get done, maybe a little slower than what we had hoped for..
It’s nice have others here, we are really enjoying listening to Advocatus Diaboli rehearsal, helping them out. I can now let you in.. it’s official Advocatus has bought themselves a little place adjoining our place.
So they are here to stay! A few flew back to pack up their belongings, and should be heading back by the end of Dec.
It feels good to have people you’ve only seen in concert to become such close friends. We hope they do good things here in New Mexico.

We called the bodyshop today as we had originally been told the car would be finished today. We found out they haven’t started working on it as they are waiting on the parts they ordered to come on. The body shop gave us an estimated time as aweek and half. Body shop stated the repairs are extensive we were told they were minimal, so idk what to think about it. Just will be happy to get our car back in the shape we left it.
I hadn’t realized just how much this all effected us until a couple days ago. When we go to Planet Fitness and shower usually Brent is finished first, he goes outside and waits for Anne and I.
Anne and I were walking out talking (I can’t remember about what). We noticed the drivers door was open on the rental, but we didn’t see Brent. Both of us suddenly quit talking. I had same feeling I had when noticed the car was gone, but more intense. It felt like it took us forever to get to the car, upon arrival we didn’t see him, my thoughts went right to the worse that he was taken.
But we rounded to the back of the car and there he stood smoking a cigarette in the shade of the car. Anne and I both let out a big breath of relief.
