It’s New Year’s….and as we wander or hang at the land we always keep our thoughts moving forward to the future. May you all find peace, love and good happiness stuff in the upcoming year!
Tonight we’re sitting here at Pilot Travel Center as the campground we had planned to stay at was nothing like we had thought. That’s okay as we got the much needed laundry done. We have one more night of drydocking before heading to a spot we have reserved for New Years!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! While sitting here with the windows and door open enjoying the 75 degree temps and listening to Brent Colquhoun playing a little bit on his bass, I work on some bookings we received for Plateau Hame De Colquhoun.
We’ve been enjoying our time here with Brent’s Mom Bev Ellis .. Tuesday we head out to the next adventure.
We finally made it to Ocean Springs! We’re spending the night here at the brewery, tomorrow heading to Milton Florida where we’ll be spending the next 5 days with family!!
All day we’ve been fighting backed up traffic from Lafayette on I-10 and now on I-12. What was supposed to been a simple 3 hour jump to our next stop has now been 4 hours and still have 141 miles to go..
Nice dinner at La Maman here at Vermillionville in Lafayette LA. Great food, awesome museum. Worth the stop if you’re ever in the area. We’re here for the night before heading out to the next stop by Mobile Alabama.
Our view for tonight or until they leave.. We made it to Loves truck stop just N of Houston. Tomorrow morning we have a short jump to one of our favorite stops, which is right in the Gulf. We are hoping to spend a couple days there before heading back out.
Dreugan update.. We’re having Issues keeping him from playing to hard..
The rest area we stayed at the grass was full of cockelburs and poor Litha tried to go bathroom to only get her feet covered. We tried walking her in different locations with no success. Litha is very picky where she uses the bathroom. She held it until we got to a gas station.
