Dreugan Puppy 33 weeks old

Dreugan now 33 weeks old 7.5 months and still growing. He’s been doing good, still has puppy brains, and hormones are kicking in.. We plan on having him neutered but the vet recommended that we wait until he’s 1 to 2 yrs old, for bone growth. Love the puppy but also can’t wait to get pass that stage.

One project at a time

We got most of the mowing finished. Worked on moving the stuff from the enclosed trailer to the new container that will become the battery house and storage. The enclosed trailer will become the water house, and the container that’s not here yet will be the kitchen, guest house.

We haven’t even gotten to start on the solar.. So many projects and We have a full week of campers coming in..

100 Degree Day

100 degree day, we didn’t get the rider mowing running it needs a throttle cable. We spent most of the day push mowing.. We did get a big percentage of the mowing finished.. We still have the parking lot (tent camping area), around solar and containers yet to do.

We did get 5 campsites mowed, 3 of which are pull through. Most can accommodate larger RVs 45+ feet.

We did find couple cute lizards, made sure we didn’t hurt them.

Change of plans, many projects

The first of the two new containers arrived today. We’ve done some changes in our planning. This one is going to become a battery/storage with hopefully enough room for workshop. The enclosed trailer (photo 3) that we had plans to make into a battery house, will become water storage with a shower. The newest container will become the kitchen, guest room.

On another note we had a old snapper riding lawn mower given to us by the container delivery guy! It hasn’t been started this year, but has a new motor, so hoping it’ll start without much issue, need to fix the tires.

So next question we’re asking, what project do we do first? Before setting the batteries up in the container we need to fix a leaky spot in the roof (we knew about it when we purchased it). We want to get the mowing finished, start build the solar panel frames?

Not as planned

Today is one of those days where things don’t work out the way we had planned. We’re trying to find at least an used good riding mower to mow down some of the grass. We can’t even find a new mower, (dealers told us there’s a shortage) we were able to find someone that’d rent us one.

Container was supposed to be delivered today, but the truck broke down (Luckily before he had even hooked up the container). Might be another week or so before it can be delivered.

Mel spent part of the day on the phone trying to get Drs appointments set up. As many of you know she has a lot of sinus issues and has had many surgeries. To get into the University of New Mexico ENT you have to have a covid test and quarantine no more than 3 days before the appointment. To get the covid test she has to see her regular Dr before to get scheduled for the test. Now all the appointments are set up (we hope), day is over, got light rain and beautiful rainbow!

How hard is it to understand?

Don’t understand why it is so hard for agencies (public School) to understand that some people don’t have Light, water, sewer, mortgages or rent. To put Anne into school we need proof of residence and they only take one of the above.

We live offgrid so don’t have any of those bills..

Bank statement, vehicle title/tags, insurance.. wouldn’t take state id.. school starts in few days and she has yet to be enrolled. We’ve been fighting with this since beginning of June.

We’ve sent in our warranty deed, address assignment, property tax receipt all from the county. None work…
