By midday, when the sun is at its peak, we retreat indoors to stay cool. Our dogs, too, find refuge inside, with plenty of water and an occasional misting to keep them comfortable. Despite the heat, we find ways to stay productive, whether it’s handling paperwork, working on music, or crafting.
#### Nature’s Drama: Turkey Buzzards and Free-Ranged Cattle
The desert is alive with wildlife. Just the other day, we witnessed turkey buzzards fiercely protecting their kill near our car—a stark reminder of the untamed spirit of nature. On the flip side, there are moments of serene beauty, like watching free-ranged cattle graze in the golden rays of a New Mexico sunrise. These experiences, both raw and tranquil, enrich our lives and connect us deeply to the land.
