New Date for Music in the Desert Saturday: Supporting Metal Mayhem and More!

At Ka-Hoon Campground and Event Center, our focus is on supporting the community rather than competing. With that in mind, we’re rescheduling our Music in the Desert Saturday Talent Show and Karaoke to the following Saturday, August 17th. This new date coincides with our Anime, Cosplay Contest, and Talent Show.

This change allows us to support Stage Luchetti and Red Gorilla Studios LLC , who are hosting a night of Metal Mayhem in Albuquerque. We’re excited to see everyone at these fantastic events and look forward to welcoming you to our own event on August 17th right here at Ka-Hoon Campground and Event Center!

Last Saturday, Advocatus Diaboli and the Grim Leafer Band lit up Red Gorilla Studios with an electrifying performance. The night was filled with incredible music, fantastic energy, and the joy of connecting with fellow music enthusiasts.

#### Performance Highlights
The show at Red Gorilla Studios was nothing short of spectacular. Advocatus Diaboli and the Grim Leafer Band delivered an unforgettable set that had everyone in the audience on their feet. Their powerful stage presence and dynamic sound created an atmosphere of pure excitement and enjoyment.

#### Meeting Great Bands
One of the best parts of the night was meeting and listening to other great bands. The camaraderie and mutual appreciation among the musicians made for an inspiring and enjoyable evening. The diversity of music styles showcased at Red Gorilla Studios highlighted the vibrant local music scene in Albuquerque.

#### Looking Ahead
We’re thrilled about the upcoming performances and events at Ka-Hoon Campground and Event Center. Next Saturday, Advocatus Diaboli and the Grim Leafer Band will be performing during the  4th July Celebration on the 6th  on Saturday the 6th, Akso during the Halloween Hootenanny  , you can also see us during the July Music in the Desert Saturday   talent show and karaoke event.

**Advocatus Diaboli and the Grim Leafer Band** will be performing at the Red Gorilla Studio in Albuquerque. The trailer is loaded and ready to go, and we can’t wait to see you there!

#### 4th of July Celebration
Next Saturday, join us for our **2-day 4th of July Celebration**. Enjoy two nights of anime under the stunning New Mexico skies, along with live performances from **Advocatus Diaboli and the Grim Leafer Band**. Gather around bonfires to play music, tell stories, and socialize!

#### Music in the Desert

Unforgettable Night at Stage Luchetti: Advocatus Diaboli & Grim Leafer Band Live!

Exciting Times Ahead at Stage Luchetti!

Next Saturday, Advocatus Diaboli and the Grim Leafer Band will be playing at Stage Luchetti in Albuquerque, and we couldn’t be more excited! We decided to check out the venue beforehand to see what it’s like, and we have to say, we were thoroughly impressed.

The atmosphere at Stage Luchetti is wonderful. The owner, Rick, and his family are incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a vibe that’s not much different from what we strive for here at Ka-Hoon Campground and Event Center. Although we didn’t get a chance to meet the first band, MUerTAPHORIA, we did get to meet Falling Fire. All I have to say is: great people, great band!

Advocatus Diaboli is thrilled to be playing at Stage Luchetti next weekend. We fully support what Rick and his family are doing for the local music scene. If you’re in the area, we highly recommend checking it out and giving your support to Rick, his family, and the local bands.

On a related note, we’ve recently encountered some criticism from a local promoter who sees us as competition. We want to make it clear that it’s not about competition—it’s about supporting each other. The success of one venue helps lift the entire community. So let’s come together, enjoy some fantastic music, and support the local arts scene!

Advocatus Diaboli and the Grim Leafer Band: A Unique Musical Experience


We are very proud of Advocatus Diaboli and the Grim Leafer Band. They arrived here last October to start performing in New Mexico, bringing their unique variety show to our region. The band is composed of talented vocalists and an animatronic band, offering an engaging mix of covers, parodies, and original songs. We are proud to support them and the venues they’ll be playing at.

Come out and support Advocatus Diaboli and the Grim Leafer Band along with Stage Luchetti  during the 4th of July Celebration in Albuquerque on June 29th! Gates open at 7 pm. There will be delicious food served by Cecilia’s Cafe on Wheels, along with a variety of arts and crafts vendors.

Additionally, Advocatus Diaboli and the Grim Leafer Band will be performing here at Ka-Hoon Campground and Event Center during our 4th of July celebration on July 6th. Come camp and enjoy the show!
