One night during a neighbor gathering, we all saw a strange object in the Northern sky. At first we thought it was Starlink satellites.
But this time it was different.
The line of lights were traveling vertically across the sky and not traveling in a straight line, and shorter then the normal starlink.
The object suddenly disappeared while heading East.
Was it Starlink, Alien’s? Or something else?

While sitting outside enjoying the cool night and New Mexico skies. A ball of light of undetermined size flew over head. The ball of light was flying fast and in many different directions. I tried to get video of the light, but it’s speed, distance and a bad camera on the cell phone made that impossible. I watched the light for a few minutes. When suddenly, helicopters seemed to appear out of nowhere headed towards the light. The light then zig-zagged and suddenly disappeared. What do you think the light was a military aircraft, alien’s or something else?

We’ve had alot of people contacting us about our “Alien” experience and wanting to know if us or others out here has had similar or other experiences. My hopes is over the next few days I’ll share a few of ours and others experiences with something “unknown” out here.
I’ll start with what I’m titling
*Mystery of the Missing Water*
Our neighbor before they had put in a well, would haul all their water in 300 gallons at a time (3 to 4 times a day) at a time, for their gardens and livestock. Making sure that every morning all their IBC tanks would be full of water.
On multiple occasions they would wake up to finding the ibc tanks completely empty. Without any evidence on what happened to the water. No puddles on the ground, no breaks in the tanks, no leaks in the spouts.
These tanks hold almost 300 gallons of water each and they had 4 filled.
What do you think that happened? We’d like to hear your thoughts.

Yesterday a neighbors truck broke down while they were out running errands. After 7 hour wait Macy’s Towing LLC showed and gave a tow to our place. This is the neighbors only vehicle and he is on dialysis. This morning a few of us neighbors got together and helped change out the starter, while I ran the neighbors wife to town to finish up the errands they weren’t able to complete yesterday. It’s been one of those days, on the way I to town a quart of oil (unopened) got punctured and Amigo laid in it. We were able to clean up the car and took Amigo to the car wash and used the hose (without pressure) and Laundry soap and got all the oil off him. I think we’ve had enough excitement the last couple days. It’s time to relax and get back to normal. (Our normal anyways).
I’d like to share a little story about something Brent and I had experienced out here.
About a month ago Brent and I were laying in bed, we hadn’t been there long and just starting to relax. When suddenly the fan that we have in the window stopped, and we felt a lot of pressure. Our first thought was the solar went out, but everything was on. Brent reached over to the fan and before he could touch it, it suddenly turned back on. We both looked at each other and said “tornado” and headed outside, before we could even get outside about 5 helicopters came flying in and stopped right over us a few seconds before moving on. The sky was clear , not a cloud, and it wasn’t windy. 樂
W been working on getting everything set up for the West Mesa Haunted Hay Ride ! We are excited to share the 2 nights with you all!
We are just little over a week until the Aug Camping and Movie Night we will be showing Bohemian Rhapsody!

We tend to show the dogs but haven’t really done much of an introduction.
Weillow
Weillow is a 13 year old chocolate lab mix. She has been with me since she was 8 weeks old. I was at work and had a person ask me if I wanted this starved puppy. She was so scared, and you could see every bone. She looked like a walking Skelton.
I took her with me, and we went straight to the vet. The vet wasn’t sure she live, he started her with vaccines right then.
I took her home, and she would just hide, wouldn’t play with other animals, especially not us. She kept her tail between her legs. It took me a couple week’s of loving, tons of food. Before she came to me,play and wagg her tail.
I took her everywhere, work, and school to socialize her. She did come out of her shell, she’s VERY protective of me . When she was younger, she had a lot of issues with men.
When I met Brent, Weillow was 2 and was so fearful of him that he had to carry her to go outside. Brent did a lot of work with her to accept him and other men. She has gotten past most of her fears towards men, but still has issues with bearded men.
Dreugan
Dreugan is a 110 lb 3/4 Husky, 1/4 Rottweiler. He will be 3 years old, Jan 1 2024.
Dreugan was a birthday present from Brent to me. Brent knew Weillow was getting older and slowing down.
Dreugan is vocal like a Husky. He’s protective like a Rottweiler. Though he does have anxiety issues, especially towards other dogs.
We had worked with him on his dog issues, but everything I get some of his fears better. He gets attacked. He’s been attacked by 3 different pitbulls, once in our car. Anne was getting into the car when a pittbull dashed inside the car and attacked Dreugan on my lap. He was attacked by a German shepherd at a truckstop, the German shepherd was not leashed Dreugan was.
He even got attacked at a dog park while he was on leash. 3 Boston terreirs came over and attacked him. He could have easily hurt them, but he hid behind me. Until they came back the second round and started towards me. He then got aggressive. Brent grabbed the terriers and told the owner to get them before they got hurt.
Amigo
Amigo is Brents dog and just turned 1 on July 20th, 2023. We are not ones that get puppies from parking lots or pet stores. But we broke that rule with Amigo. When we seen the puppies at Walmart Brent and I said pretty much at the same time, “Let’s go look” we never go look.
When we got to the car, there were a bunch of pups about 8, many of them multiple colored ones very flashy and cute. But it was Amigo that came to us. We didn’t know what to do, we tried to put him down but he didn’t want to go.
We asked all the normal questions.. vaccines, bred, age. We couldn’t see the parents but that’s okay.
He hadn’t had any vaccines. They knew his birthday, and they said his mother was a Pitt bull, father Lab, German Shepherd.
We really had no idea what to do, we don’tagree with paying for unvacinnated pups or support backyard breeders.. But also realized he’s a black pup, and black dogs tend not to be adopted as easy. Since he wanted to be with us, we said sure.
Upon leaving, the people that had him told us they’ll be having more pups if we want more. That really upset me hearing, but we just walked away and took Amigo to tractor supply and gave him his first vaccine in the parking lot.
It’s Wednesday August 2nd already. Anne Calhoun just finished her first semester of college. The West Mesa Haunted Hay Ride is just around the corner!
We also have the Camping and Movie Night coming up in just a few weeks. I am on the look out for a movie for the September Camping and Movie Night. I would like to do a double feature of both the new and old Haunted Mansion, but I’m not sure the new one will be available by then.
If you have any suggestions on movies we’d love to hear it!
