It’s Monday already, we are getting so close to the West Mesa Haunted Hay Ride ! Thursday night Advocatus Diaboli and the Grim Leafer Band will be flying in. Day earlier than originally planned, but that is fine, works out little easier for us.
This week is going to be a busy one, think the grounds are pretty much ready. We aren’t mowing everything we usually do as we want as much grass as possible to go to seed. With hopes have more native grass less tumble weeds and goat heads.
The Greenroom is ready for the band, mainly getting the stage ready and the Hayride..
We are tired, we were fully booked this weekend with over 50 people over 2 days. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, we got a nice donation (we thank you so much!) to help paint murals on the 2 containers. If you know anyone that does spraypaint murals please have them contact us!

Dealing with the car has set us behind on getting ready for the West Mesa Haunted Hay Ride . It has been emotionally draining, and expensive. This has been a hard lesson to learn and a crap to deal experience
We are sharing this information in hopes that others will learn from our experiences.
We have purchased a case that the fob/keys go into so no potentially accidently pushing the unlock button. Not that anything much a consumer can do when the thieves seem to have better technology than the manufacturers use…which really sucks to know.

We went and looked at the car, it wasn’t as bad as we were thinking.. Some dents, few scratches, the remote start was ripped out and inside was filthy.. It started okay, not sure if anything else was hurt. It is staying at the bodyshop to get the dent, inside cleaned and santized, remote starter fixed, keys changed. The Amazon packages were ours, but rest of the trash wasn’t..dents are hard to see in the photos..
We did find out the car had been used in some crimes.
But we’ll have the car back, unless they find more wrong (which fingers crossed they don’t).
Many hard lessons this week.. one the Starlight theater in Los Lunas is a popular place for car thefts.
Hope everyone’s weekend went well.. Been hard few days here. But we will get past it, and move on. We’ve had many supportive people and we appreciate each and everyone of you.
Our goal now is to get the word out so this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Our car has full coverage, gap, so we’ll probably be fine. But what about those that don’t?
These things shouldn’t happen, the businesses need better security, cameras..Their cameras at the theatre is very lacking, it doesn’t zoom, the cameras are ontop of the building. Better cameras we would of had an license plate, image of the person.
Our understanding (which hasn’t been confirmed) a vehicle matching the one from our video may have been the same that went to the golf course outside of Belen and shot at a security guard while trying to steal gas.Then, we know our A-Holes went to Champion Smoke Shop and tried to purchase $385.82 worth of stuff using my debit card. We had already reported the cards so the bank declined it..
Businesses need to ask for an ID, (are they culpable?) they have my ID, but I’m sure my photo doesn’t look like the person that used the card..
Since we’ve been posting the video and information we’ve had some weird dms from people, can’t say they are threatening but can’t say there not..
Becareful out there these thieves are armed, he/they have no fear stealing in board daylight, and don’t care who you are…

Well many know we mowed yesterday. We worked almost 5 hours mowing and walked 4 miles, we aren’t done yet still few more hours ro go. Then the mowing will be done for the West Mesa Haunted Hay Ride . Today we worked in the studio, and just trying to keep ourselves busy.

Car update :
We don’t have much for information on the car, that I can share. Today we are just trying not to talk about it. It’s just so upsetting, i would love our car back the way we left it. We are hoping to hear from the insurance tomorrow. We hope we can get a rental until we figure out everything. We have the pickup, but it has issues that prevents us from driving any distance with it.
Plus having to buy what was lost 3 5 gallon water bottles, all our shower stuff, clothes, towels (I’m glad we didn’t do laundry like we had talked about), Anne lost her Bluetooth earbuds, charger among other things. It’s all replaceable, but we shouldn’t have to..
