Faax was hot and spread across the floor so I turned the fan on her.. As you can see she’s not rejecting the breeze. She also tends to attack your feet when you walk pass her..

Who are we?

Tiny Living, kind of magic.

Hi! We are Melodie and Brent. Two of us along with 2 teenagers, 2 dogs and a cat had lived part time in our 8 x 16 tiny home part time in Minnesota, until the fall of 2019 when we moved in full time.

The winter of 2019-2020 we spent a couple months in New Mexico for work. While there we purchased 5 acres vacant of property on the west Mesa just south of Albuquerque.

During our stay in New Mexico we also bought a 92 Lazy Daze Rv that needed some interior work. Once our work was finished for the season the 7 of us headed back to Minnesota to live out the spring and summer in our tiny house while remodeling the Rv.

Fall of 2020 our plans is to move into the RV full time on our New Mexico property. But to achieve this plan we most compete the remodel of the RV. Sort though and down size our items in our storage unit to haul to New Mexico. Once in New Mexico we will need to figure out electric and water.

We are finally working on the wheel wells of the trailer! I am hoping to have the next video F*ck-It or Fix-It part 6 edited and released on Wednesday Aug 12!

Well we’ve had an not so fun last couple days. Yesterday Sunday started out good and things where moving along. But things went down hill fast!
Warning Don’t continue to read if you have a weak stomach

The tail gate on the trailer which doesn’t have cables yet to support the 200 to 300 lbs of weight fell smashing Brent’s finger between it and cement floor. It cut the tip of his glove right off and taking most of his finger along with it. It would of probably took his whole finger if he hadn’t of been wearing gloves.

There isn’t enough skin or meat left to sew back together. So now his has bug chunk of finger missing.

We took rest of Sunday off from working on the trailer today we did a few simple things. Gate will not be lowered again until the cables are installed!
