Understanding the Ka-Hoon Campground Color Code

Ka-Hoon Campground and Event Center uses a color code to help campers understand the different areas throughout the campground.

The color-coded map identifies areas that may be communal, private, reservable, or property border areas, making it easier for campers to understand where they can set up their campsite.

• Yellow: Communal Area, all are welcome
• Black: Private, Off Limits
• Yellow/Orange: Reservable areas
• Orange: Property line

Choose Your Campsite

At Ka-Hoon Campground, campers can choose where they want to camp within the areas available to them.

Once you choose your campsite, that space can become your own private camping area as long as you remain within the designated boundaries and stay away from private areas.

This gives campers freedom to choose their space while still respecting the campground’s designated areas.

Communal Camping Areas

Some areas at Ka-Hoon Campground are communal

If you choose a campsite located inside a designated communal area, the area remains communal rather than becoming an exclusive private space.

Campers using communal areas should respect the shared nature of those spaces.

Private and reservable areas are identified separately from communal camping areas.

Campers should remain outside designated private areas unless they have permission or have specifically reserved that area.
