We picked up the police report today, so Anne and I could get our replacement id’s and Drivers licenses.. We had been thinking that we may have accidentally unlocked the car while watching the movies as the fob was in our pockets.. We purchased some fob bags that block the RF.. The police report states that o the video the thieves used a slim Jim on the rear drivers door to open the door. There was 2 males involved one that unlocked and one that drove the car.
Reading the report helped us feel better, as we were second guessing ourselves. But we have now taken steps to ensure that we can’t accidentally unlock the car with the fob in our pockets..
Now it’s a waiting game, waiting for the car to get inspected so it can get fixed, cleaned, santized so we can get it back! Not that the rental is bad, but it’s not our car, and we like the Kia Sportage!
We are now in West Mesa Haunted Hay Ride mode. Tomorrow night we are picking up the band from the airport. They will be staying with us a little while, we are helping them setup all their social media and website, giving a place to stay in exchange for their Saturday show.
They did not need any online presence where we had seen them in concert. When we approached them and asked if they be interested in coming here (we never thought for a second they say yes), we were shocked when they not only said yes, but they asked us to help, he stated they felt like they were stuck where they were at, and felt we are the right people to help. Even after we told them we couldn’t guarantee anything…
Come to to show Saturday you will not be disappointed!! If you’re looking for a band to play your venue contact us or Advocatus Diaboli for more information!!!
If you’re not able to make it we are planning on recording the show and hopefully doing a live show. 10 pm MST on Facebook and or YouTube (if it works, we’ve had issues in the past as many know).
Photo was of our car on the trailer, when I made a trip to Minnesota to bring gear back.
