Sunny Saturday Dec 2 morning. I am a member of a few RV groups, so many times in those groups I read about Rvers traveling across country and trying to find routes around New Mexico due to their fears of crime here. It’s sad really as New Mexico is beautiful, and full of so much history! There are many safe places to stay, and see.
The reputation of the state (some based in unfortunate truth) is shocking, while others just ignore the SW or believe we are south of the boarder.
Coming to our land can be a little unnerving for sure as it’s so desolate (15 miles from town) but don’t let it or the news intimidate you.
It’s really glorious.

“Plateau Hame De Colquhoun is located on the southern point of the West Mesa by Bosque, New Mexico off I25 just 41 miles south of Albuquerque. A place for fun and relaxation, star gazing all year long. Visit our website for more information.”
