We love our views! Container supposed to arrive tomorrow, have a full weekend of campers, Anne starts school on Wednesday and we’re enjoying some live music here at Plateau Hame De Colquhoun! Only thing we are missing is all our friends at Sacred Harvest Festival this week!
Cleaning day.. We don’t fill up the tank in the RV so means boiling up hot water. For drinkable water we fill up 4 5 gallon jugs at walmart to use. This will change once the new solar is up and going… Once the solar is up we have 3 / 330gallon tanks full of water that will be hooked up to a well pump. Progress part2.
So, until then we run the generator to vacuum, and remain in travel mode for showers. When will the solar be up, you may ask? We had planned to have it built and up by now.. But with shipment delays and price of lumber we have decided to wait until after our upcoming trip.
We do have plans to keep growing, building better roads, clearing pads adding more amenities. We offer a communal firepit a place everyone can come together have a fire. Disperse camping and privacy. Pets are welcome, must be leashed when leaving your camp site.

We love it here at our property. As we create what becomes the learning curve, there is one clear understanding. We are settling in a land that no one has ever lived before! Why might this be? Because its not an easy place to live. Today we have had such an opponent, the demon of the land…wind and sand. What did we learn??? Dig deeper into its heart and anchor,, and keep structure tighter than the ribs that hold its breath. We battle again at dawn…..
