Easter Sunday we decided to go for a ride. We’ve lived out here 2 years and haven’t seen what the back side of Ladrone (2rd picture) peak looked like. So we headed out on this day to see it. The drive was very pretty and hard to imagine that what took us 3 hours to drive is an area we can still see from our place. We went down through the city of #socorro, and headed west towards #Magdalena on hwy 60, we then headed down hwy 169 towards #alamo. Very scenic drive, though the pavement surprise ended and we ended up driving about 20 miles of rough dirt road (in the video). It was well worth the drive.
