We raked the area around the communal firepit, leaving just a few finishing touches.
Later in the day, we retreated to the studio to put the finishing touches on event materials. I wrapped up the flyers and welcome packets, complete with special surprises for those who’ve pre-registered for the upcoming Nomad Gathering.
Looking ahead, our calendar is filled with exciting events. In a few weeks, we’re hosting a members-only night. As I sat outside, enjoying the cool night breeze and the expansive New Mexico skies, an unexpected and mysterious event unfolded before my eyes. A glowing ball of light, with an undetermined size, darted across the sky above me. Its movements were rapid and erratic, shifting in various directions.
Eager to capture this phenomenon, I attempted to record a video, but the light’s speed and distance, combined with my cell phone camera’s limitations, made it impossible. I watched, spellbound, as the light danced across the sky.
Moments later, helicopters appeared out of nowhere, seemingly targeting the light. As they approached, the light executed a sudden zigzag maneuver and vanished without a trace. This left me wondering—what exactly did I witness? Could it have been military aircraft, aliens, or something else entirely?
