Welcome to the 2025 New Mexico Nomad Gathering in the Desert, hosted by Ka-Hoon Campground and Event Center (Plateau hame de Colquhoun)(Melodie and Brent)! Here’s all the important information you need to know about this exciting event:

Date: May 16 to 18
Location: Bosque, New Mexico (Directions can be found on the bottom of this page, the event page of our website)

About the Gathering:
The NM Nomad Gathering in the Desert is the 2nd of many Nomad Gatherings organized by Plateau Hame De Colquhoun. It’s a private gathering, so registration is required – it’s not open to the general public. All nomads are welcome, regardless of your mode of living – whether you’re in a tent, van, car, 5th wheel, schooly, or RV.

What to Expect:
This 2-night, 3-day event is a private party of nomads coming together for food, fun, festivities, and fellowship. Activities include a bonfire, karaoke, Talent No Talent Show, live music, movie nights, stargazing, vendors, and more!

Schedule Highlights:

  • Friday:
  • 5 pm: Opening meeting and setting up silent auction
  • 6 pm: Meet and greet Potluck
  • Saturday:
  • 10 am: Morning meeting
  • Workshops throughout the day (open to all attendees)
  • Noon: Open for workshops, hanging out, vending goods, and displaying art (free for all registered)
  • 3 pm: Potluck (please list ingredients for allergy considerations)
  • 6 pm: Concert with Advocatus Diaboli and the Grim Leafer Band (note: may not be suitable for all ages)
  • Bonfire
  • Sunday:
  • 10 am: Morning meeting
  • Noon: Silent auction
  • If you’d like to host an activity or vend goods, please let us know. Vending is free for all attendees.

Additional Information:

  • BYOB and 420 friendly
  • This is a family event, so please be responsible if you choose to drink or partake in 420.
  • Registration can be found on our website or purchased at the Dusty Nail General Store during the event. First-come, first-served campsites for registrations purchased at the store.
  • Children 10 and under are free.
